Who is ready for the 2024 General election?

Get involved today by picking up signs for your favorite candidates here at your local GOP, ask for information on becoming a precinct chair, joining a committee or volunteer for your candidate(s) of choice.

This 2022-2024 term is coming to a close and honestly it’s bittersweet for me. I’ll miss all of you and the memories we’ve made together, but the future of the grassroots movement begins soon, officially in June at the 2024-2026 Hidalgo County GOP’s Organizational Meeting! With all of our help our Hidalgo County GOP will continues to thrive. Many of you are proof of that.  The work we do is talked about, prayed for and supported NATIONWIDE and I am confident that our newly elected Chairman, Robert Cantu Jr, will exceed expectations. He’s got the experience and the heart to lead us to victory! I will continue to help as much as I can and am excited for what’s to come for South Texas!!

The Republican Party of Texas 2024 State Convention is just over a month away! At State Convention, since this is a Presidential/National year, you will meet in your Senatorial District (SD) Caucus for state business (e.g. election of State Chair, Vice Chair, and SREC Committeeman and Committeewoman, etc.) and you will meet in your Congressional District (CD) Caucus for national business (e.g. election of National Committeeman, Committeewoman, National Delegates & Alternates, Presidential Electors, etc.). Also, in General Sessions you will be seated by either SD, or CD depending on the business.

You can OFFICIALLY register for STATE convention and purchase any tickets for events you’d like to attend.

You should have received the official convention registration email a few days ago. Please make sure you book your hotel and get registered. Rooms are going fast!

If an alternate tries to register as a delegate, the system will not let them register.  A person must use the correct link.

If you need to go back in and change anything with your registration, you will do that through your confirmation email.
